The perfect pony by Susan McBane, published by Lyons Press in 2001.
Ponies may look like small horses, but they can be quite different-they're generally quicker-witted, more determined (which can be a good or bad thing), and, pound for pound, stronger. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, making them perfect mounts for children of all ages and lighter adults. Full of beautiful and instructive color photographs, The Perfect Pony teaches everything you need to keep your pony fit, healthy, and happy.
A lovely addition to your coffee table or bookshelf, and a thoughtful gift.
